Dr. Peter Balacky
Dr. Peter Balacky's journey to becoming a Board Certified Oral Surgeon began at Stony Brook University, where he earned his Bachelor's in Pharmacology and later his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After a year-long residency in General Practice Dentistry at NYU Langone, he discovered his true calling in surgery. This led him to complete an intensive four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Northwell Health-LIJ, where he gained invaluable experience across multiple hospitals and specialties.
Today, Dr. Balacky brings his expertise to a wide range of procedures, with a focus on dental implants and full arch rehabilitation. He's known for his patient-first approach, treating everyone who walks through the door as if they were family. Dr. Tommy Kim
Dr. Tommy Kim is a Los Angeles native who grew up in Venice Beach. He left LA to pursue his education and surgical training, and now he's back home in the place he knows and loves most.
Dr. Kim earned his undergraduate degree at UC San Diego and his dental degree from Western University of Health Sciences. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at St. Joseph's University Medical Center on the East Coast, where he trained in a busy hospital setting. During residency, he trained extensively at the VA (Veterans Affairs) hospital, treating veterans and managing complex implant cases, including full-arch reconstructions and advanced bone grafting. He went on to practice in the Seattle area before making his way back to Southern California.
Dr. Kim is board certified and offers the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, IV sedation, and TMJ treatment. He also offers Botox for both cosmetic purposes and pain relief, including TMJ disorders and migraines. His approach is simple: every patient should leave feeling informed, comfortable and genuinely cared for.
Larchmont Village has been one of Dr. Kim's favorite places since he was a kid, so practicing in the neighborhood he's always loved feels like a full-circle moment. He's thrilled to be back home and can't wait to serve the community that helped shape him.
